People you know, participating? To be recognized? To share identity?
the attention of the public is changing, expectation arise full attention in confined spaces pressure
but also the sensation that your are bringing people with
space plays a crutial role
comparison with the paleis, where the attention was diffused
clothes were more important, the artist suit working but casual
rather then a normal person
floor was moving less
applause not responding to it - it is about the work
reviews here also what do some people understand
I speak to a few- to make them understand
reviews considerate it as a performance, which it isn’t.
I like people to get closer and look, that they come with me and look;
— future try to gain that maybe see what it is to challenge that how to make look more?
it is directly the public I am working with if I have to take them in conisderation
Place in theoretical context
As I am trying to define what this period is about, I noticed that my latest work has been marking a shift, for the performative aspect has entered the realm of my making process, It doesn’t necessarily needs to be me, but it needs to be the artist and yes that is me in this case.. so I cannot avoid taking that role.
`With this act' I want to share the notion of visual excitement, the painting is changing rapidly and is bound to disappear. It is ment to be looked at directly, in its transformation.
But it is not only about the spreading of the paint, the act is happening in a space where ‘art is being observed and experienced and it is directly affecting the space itself, what will happen with the work afterwords? will it be cleaned? painted on? is it allowed to be made here? Are questions I want to trigger.
What does iT mean to show?
how the work is changing
This act - is ment for the public
it is ment for a culture space.

it's ment to say LOOK and bring back to the basics notions of what it means to see and to which extent what it does to see.
